2/23 - Phoenix Zoo, a super windy & chilly day

Saturday - decided to go to Pheonix Zoo instead of Sonoran Desert since it's nearer..

Some facts about the Zoo:
The Phoenix Zoo was opened in 1962 and is the largest non-profit zoo in the United States. It is also advertised as voted a Top Zoo for Children in US. The exhibits include Arizona Trail, Adrica Trail, Children's Trail, Tropical Trail and Stringray Bay.
The day was especially windy. Close to 26miles/hour of wind as checked from the weather forecast.
The Zoo was not exceptionally big but good enough for family with kids. Wide spaces to roam about. Landscaping is dotted by the typical Arizona desert plants. I love the African Trail best, with the giraffe the best attraction.

For the kids ? The best must be :1) The camel ride ; 2) The photo booth (after pestering the mom to snap the photos) ; 3) The tree house ; 4) The petting area in the Children's Trail

It was quite an experience for parents with the wind, but they survived !
